Properties
Glass sealant, fiberglass sealant is available in square and rectangular cross-sections, diameter from 4mm to 80mm. Such a shape of the sealant makes it easier to install and better fits the sealed surface.
The thermal resistance of the glass sealant is from -200°C to + 500°C.
Fiberglass woven gland packing is braided using the Interbraid method of textured glass fibers of type E. Thanks to the texturing process, the structure of the yarn is changed, on which loops and notches are formed. This gives the glass sealant very good insulating and thermal insulation properties and also increases its acoustic properties.
