Fiberglass woven cord for static connections.
Properties
Fiberglass woven cord has a circular cross-section.
Available thicknesses: from 4 mm to 80 mm.
The thermal resistance of this thermal insulation is from -200°C to + 500°C
The heat-insulating glass cord is braided using the Interbraid method of textured glass fibers of type E. Thanks to the texturing process, the structure of the yarn on which loops and notches are formed is changed. This gives the glass cord very good insulating and thermal insulation properties and also increases its acoustic properties.
Application
The glass cord is thermal insulation designed for static connections, for example in applications such as:
coal mills doors, manholes, covers,
doors of drying and paint chambers
Glass ropes are especially recommended in such industries as:
power plants - coal mills,
ceramic, glass - lining the gaps,
non-ferrous metals - gaskets between sections of metal casting equipment,
municipal economy - coal stoves.
