Thermal insulation ceramic sleeves are available with or without reinforcement.
Properties
Ceramic thermal insulation sleeves are made of aluminosilicate yarn. They are available with and without reinforcement. The reinforced ceramic sleeve can be used at temperatures up to 1200°C, but unlike unreinforced sleeves, it cannot be used for live conductors.
Ceramic thermal insulation sleeves, depending on the diameter, are produced on weaving machines or on special looms for multilayer fabrics, which gives the excellent material density, even with diameters of 500 mm. They are characterized by flexibility and softness, which enable convenient installation of the T-shirt.
Application
Ceramic thermal insulation sleeves can be used in temperatures from -200°C to + 600°C. The exception is the reinforced sheath, the temperature resistance of which is +1,200°C. They are designed to work in an environment with a pH of 0-9, in media such as oils, greases and acids, except for concentrated ones.
The ceramic sleeve is used as:
insulation of live conductors (except armored sleeve)
thermal insulation of hot elements in various types of industrial installations
thermal insulation of pipes, electric and hydraulic lines, etc., located near the heat source,
can be used as a sealing tape in flange connections with bolt holes (mills, pipelines in dedusting installations),
manhole belt for furnaces, dryers and boilers.
