Types
Ceramic paper is available in rolls with a width of 1220 mm - thickness from 2 mm to 5 mm
Properties
Ceramic paper is a thermal insulation material made of high purity aluminosilicate (ceramic) fibers. It contains a small admixture of an organic binder.
Ceramic fiber paper has advantages such as:
-
good thermal insulation properties - low thermal conductivity
-
temperature resistance up to 1260°C
-
good tensile strength
-
it is easy to cut, can be bent and wrapped around a wide variety of shapes
Application
-
filling expansion gaps in refractory linings,
-
a shock-absorbing and leveling layer under ceramic fittings (burner fittings, linings of non-ferrous metal drain trays, etc.),
-
thin-walled armor insulation of heating devices and heat treatment furnaces,
-
thermal seals up to 1260 ° C,
- ceramic paper is also used to cut gaskets, for example for revisions in various types of systems, exhaust pipes, etc.
