Properties

Ceramic fabric is a material made of high-quality aluminosilicate yarn, made of fused aluminum and silicon oxides and a small admixture of organic fibers (14-18%), which are anneal after the first heating.

The role of natural fibers is to enable spinning, and their burnout does not change the properties of the fabric. 

The most important characteristics of a ceramic fabric are:

  • high thermal resistance

  • fire resistance

  • resistance to acids, grease, liquid aluminum and zinc

  • good mechanical tensile and shock resistance

  • flexibility and lightness 

Application

Ceramic fabrics find many applications in the broadly understood industry, for example in metallurgy, boiler-making, energy, petrochemical and chemical industries and others. Thanks to their excellent thermal insulation properties, they are most often used as:

  • insulation of elements exposed to high temperature,

  • thermal insulation of high-temperature installations, steam installations,

  • thermal insulation of hoses, cables and wires,

  • splices and expansion joints covers,

  • welding curtains,

  • for the production of work gloves and clothes

Formats

The ceramic fabric available from us is available in rolls with a width of 100cm - 2 and 3mm thick.
Rolls of 30 rm.
It is possible to sell it in smaller quantities than the whole roll - the minimum purchase quantity is 1 m
