Ceramic cardboard with excellent thermal insulation properties and chemical resistance.
Types
Ceramic cardboard is available in the format 1000 mm x 1000 mm - thickness from 2 mm to 10 mm
Ceramic cardboard is made of pressed aluminosilicate (ceramic) fibers with the addition of fibers and organic binders. The paper technology used in the production of ceramic cardboard consists in the orderly arrangement of fibers and pressing them with heat-resistant binders and fillers.
As a result, ceramic fiber cardboard has the following properties:
Properties
excellent thermal insulation
good chemical resistance
good resistance to thermal shocks
easy machining - can be cut with a die or plotter for gaskets and thermal insulation; it is possible to cut any shape out of thermal insulation ceramic cardboard according to the customer's guidelines, however, care should be taken during processing, because it is a brittle material and susceptible to mechanical damage
Application
static seal in flue gas environments at temperatures from 850 ° C to 1100 ° C
filling of expansion gaps
insulation in heating devices, burners, induction heaters, microwave ovens, etc.
thermal protection of steel structure elements or machines and devices, especially exposed to high temperatures
low-pressure gas seal
flange connections for the discharge of exhaust gases and post-production gases
- in industrial dryers
