Ceramic boards for industry insulations.
Types:
Holterm 1260 M
max. temp.: 1260°C
density: 260kg/m3
Holterm 1260 T
max. temp.: 1260°C
density: 300kg/m3
Ceramic insulating boards are vacuum formed from suspensions of ceramic (aluminosilicate) fibers with a dozen or so percent addition of organic fibers of lower densities. Natural fibers burn out when the material is heated for the first time, without changing its properties.
Properties
high thermal resistance up to 1260°C,
high resistance to sudden temperature changes,
low thermal conductivity,
homogeneous structure, easy machining and installation,
Application
as thermal protection of steel structure elements or machines and devices exposed to high temperatures,
as refractory and insulating linings for heating devices, burners, induction heaters, flue gas ducts or drying chambers,
in metallurgical furnaces as a lining for furnace carriages,
- high-temperature static seals of any shape.
