Properties
Jointing sheet Novaphit SSTC TA-Luft is made of high purity (99%) expanded graphite. It is enriched with a metal insert made of acid-resistant chrome-nickel steel and internal impregnation, which additionally increases the tightness of the material. It exhibits such properties as:
- high temperature resistance from -200 ° C to 550 ° C
- excellent ability to adapt to the unevenness of the collar
- resistance to changing loads
- durability and effectiveness even within the external limits of use
- good chemical resistance
- creep resistance
In the production of Novaphit SSTC TA-LUFT graphite sealing plates, XP technology can be used, thanks to which the graphite is more resistant to oxidation. This significantly increases the dimensional stability of the plate at high temperatures, and thus extends the machine life and installation reliability.
The XP technology also reduces the deposition of graphite on the sealed surface, making the removal of the gasket easier and faster. This saves time and protects the collar.
