Properties
- The additional presence of aluminum allows to reduce heat loss and reduce fraying of the fabric.
- This fabric has high temperature resistance, reduces heat loss and radiation.
- Moreover, it exhibits excellent chemical stability and resistance to most oils and solvents.
Application
Aluminum coated glass fabric is used in many industries. It is most often used as:
heat screen
insulation in the process of heating welded structures
cover for hoses or cables operating near heat sources
material for protective clothing, for example in metallurgy and firefighting
