Aramid farbic

Raw aramid fabric is woven from aramid filament yarns. It is a high-quality product known for its extreme mechanical strength. It does not contain any admixtures, therefore it has the properties of pure aramid:

• dimensional stability at high temperature

• non-flammable - aramid fabric does not burn; it carbonizes only at a temperature of 500°C and does not emit harmful substances

• resistant to most chemicals

• raw aramid fabric is extremely mechanically resistant - it is resistant to impacts, tears, cuts, punctures, etc. 

Raw aramid fabric is a material intended to strengthen various types of composites and structures with increased resistance to cuts, punctures and various types of mechanical damage. It can be used at high temperatures as it is dimensionally stable and does not burn.

Aramid fabric is used in situations requiring the best mechanical and thermal resistance, for example in:

• fabric expansion joints exposed to high amplitudes of temperature and pressure and to mechanical damage

• in the production of various types of equipment and protective clothing, for example, bulletproof vests, clothing for firefighters, astronauts and rally drivers, protective gloves, climbing belts, skis, tennis rackets, armor, etc.

• thermal insulation
