Properties
The silicon-coated aramid fabric is woven from high-quality staple fibers with excellent thermal insulation properties and the commonly known mechanical strength of aramid. Aramid fabrics are mainly used for thermal insulation of hot elements and for the transport of various types of highly abrasive and hot materials, for the production of curtains, covers as well as work clothes.
Thanks to silicone impregnation, the aramid fabric gains additional properties, such as:
- better glide
- greater tear resistance
- waterproof
