SBR rubber sheets are produced as standard:
-
in the 1000 mm x 1000 mm format for the thickness of 15-50 mm
-
in widths from 1200 mm to 1400 mm
-
up to 10 m long and 1 mm to 5 mm thick
-
up to 5 m long and 6 mm to 20 mm thick
The rubber sheets are in the form of sheets, rolled up, black in color. The surface of the plates is covered with a thin layer of talcum powder. For quantities of more than 24 rolls, we recommend rubber sheets with a paper divider, without talcum powder. Solid SBR rubber can be produced in a raw version and as a reinforced rubber lining. In order to strengthen the tear resistance, one or two layers of fabric are used, thanks to which the mechanical strength of the rubber plate increases.
Properties
The SBR rubber sheet is made on the basis of styrene-butadiene rubber, i.e. a copolymer of butadiene and sterine. This type of rubber shows the following properties:
-
high flexibility, thanks to which it is a good alternative to natural rubber
-
very good compression, abrasion and tear resistance
-
good current conductivity
-
no resistance to oils and mineral fuels and to weather conditions
-
temperature resistance from -30°C to 70°C
Application
-
for the production of static washers and gaskets working in an unstretched state, in neutral water solutions, in the temperature range from -30°C to 70°C
-
for the production of vibration isolation, for example bumpers and damping underlays
-
do produkcji uszczelek w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym
- for the production of seals in the automotive industry
- in the soles of shoes
-
as anti-slip elements of furniture
