NBR rubber sheets are produced as standard:
Sheets 1000 mm x 1000 mm - thickness from 15 mm to 50 mm
Rolls width: 1200 mm - thickness from 1 mm to 10 mm
Black NBR color. The surfaces of the boards can be smooth or with a fabric impression. The plates with a smooth surface are covered with a thin layer of talcum powder to prevent the plates from sticking together. For quantities of more than 24 rolls, we recommend rubber sheets with a paper divider, without talcum powder. Solid NBR rubber can be produced in a raw version and as a reinforced rubber lining. In order to strengthen the tear resistance, one or two layers of fabric are used, thanks to which the mechanical strength of the rubber plate increases.
Properties
NBR rubber is an oil-resistant rubber based on acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber. One of its most important properties is resistance to mineral oils and greases. In addition, it shows resistance to:
engine, heating and transformer oils, provided that they do not contain glycol
aliphatic hydrocarbons
non-flammable hydraulic fluids
low-percentage alcohols
saltwater solutions
acids and bases diluted at low temperatures
temperature resistance from -40°C to 70°C
Like all rubbers, NBR rubber is flexible and resistant to tearing, squeezing and abrasion.
NBR rubber sheets should not be used with benzene, concentrated acids and lyes, and glycol.
Application
material for seals, mainly in hydraulics and pneumatics
belts in transmissions
tires and inner tubes
bumpers
elements for absorbing and damping vibrations
- carpets
printing rollers
for the production of hoses for liquid fuels and oils
