Spunbond as a medical nonwoven

This nonwoven fabric is very popular in the medical industry. Various types of clothing and protective accessories are produced from it:

  • nonwoven fabric for protective masks - in order to sew a medical protective mask, it is combined with Melblown nonwoven fabric. Then a three-layer mask is created, in which the Spunbond is two outer layers, and the Meltblown is the inner layer.

  • non-woven fabric for surgical aprons and suits - thanks to good tear resistance, low weight and good air permeability, Spunbond is used for sewing surgical gowns and suits, medical caps, sheets and underlays, etc.

Other applications

  • furniture - as headrest covers in trains, lining linings, pockets for springs, linings in cushions, etc.

  • footwear and leather-making - for example as masking elements in bags and backpacks, as partitions, pockets, etc.
