Cutting of textolite, ready-made elements from textolite plates and rollers - various machining methods, fast order fulfillment!
Cutting textolite - plates, tubes, forms
Textolite textolit rezotex - is a construction material that is characterized by a very good susceptibility to mechanical processing. Thanks to this, it can be cut out of any forms and elements, even of precise shapes and small dimensions. You will find semi-finished products from which ready-made elements are made in our assortment:
  • TCF textolite plates
  • textolite rollers
We make details on the basis of the customer's technical drawing, using various methods of machining.

Cutting textolite - what elements do we cut from textolite?

Rezotex turbax novotex textolite is a material known for its exceptionally good machinability. Thanks to this property, it is possible to cut small and precise elements from it, which are additionally resistant to high mechanical loads, high temperature and chemicals. That is why textolite is still very popular among engineering plastics, although it is one of the oldest materials of its kind. Its advantages also include electrical insulating properties.

The most frequently cut elements are:

  • bearings and slide bushings
  • rails and gears
  • guides
  • rolling and running elements
  • transporting and tensioning rollers
  • pads

Application

Due to their properties, ready-made textolite elements and forms are used primarily in the engineering, metallurgical, boatbuilding, yacht and electrotechnical industries.

Textolite elements are used in situations where:

  • there are high and long-term mechanical loads,
  • the temperature is high (up to 120°C for continuous operation up to 180°C for temporary operation),
  • there is contact with chemicals
  • electrical insulating properties of the construction material are required.

In the engineering and metallurgical industry, textolite rezotex novotex is used as a construction material for the production of the above-mentioned elements. In the electrotechnical industry, it is used for the production of electro-insulating and structural elements for electric motors. oil transformers and low and medium-voltage switchgear.

The most common methods of cutting textolite

Machining is one of the basic methods of mechanical processing of textolite. It is a method of removing excess material with cutting tools. As a result, a new shape with specific parameters is obtained from semi-finished products, such as textolite plates and rollers. Most often we use cutting methods such as:

  • milling
  • turning
  • boring
  • drilling, reaming and boring, i.e. making, finishing and enlarging cylindrical holes

The choice of the best method depends on the type of element, and more specifically on the shape, we want to obtain.
